In 1997, this Chapter realized a vision and established a goal. In 1998, the Nebraska Alumni Association jumped more than 30 positions nationwide in alumni association national ranking! The members of this chapter are doing their part. In July 1999, we achieved our goal of Red Letter Chapter status and realized our vision. "Husker Pride!" Today, the Nebraska Alumni Association is in the Top Ten of all nationwide! The chapter members continue to work and live up to our Mission Statement.

Right now, it's easy to join the National Capital Cornhuskers. If you are currently a member of the University of Nebraska Alumni Association, upon renewal, state your chapter code as WDC!
